Bogus Bills Beware!
Vision Currency Technologies has a counterfeit bill detector produced in Taiwan they are marketing exclusively in Canada. Vision, headquartered in Woodridge, Ontario, says the unit’s high-resolution monitor coupled with their patented hardware and software has resulted in a bogus paper money detector that has yet to incorrectly identify even one note.
Barry Kruger, their sales VP and a veteran of the coin machine industry for some 20 years (shown here with the machine) says counterfeit currency has infiltrated all areas of the retail market nationwide. "Our high-tech optical device will restore much of the credibility paper money has lost within the retail market," he said, presumably including the game center business.
Vision’s currency detector, Kruger advises, is presently used in such places as government facilities, banks, casinos, theaters and normal retail stores. "Several fraud and counterfeit squads within our police departments are thrilled with this breakthrough," he declared. "Recently, Canadian authorities uncovered a very large amount of counterfeit tens and twenties in just one isolated incident." |
